Sophie, born and raised in Ottawa, resides in the North Shore of Montreal, Quebec. Being obese most of her childhood, she started to exercise at the age of 15 years old under doctor’s recommendations. A fitness lifestyle became her way of life.

Since the age of 18, she’s been active in the fitness industry teaching aerobics and endurance training. She’s taught home-based self-esteem and fitness workshops in Ottawa and Montreal in French and in English. She holds a diploma in Recreation Management and in Fitness and Nutrition with Highest Honours and is a Certified Fitness Instructor / Individual Conditioning.

In 2000, she became a flight attendant for Air Canada, and her health habits took a turn for the worst. With the right tools, and using the knowledge and experience gained over 15 years, Sophie created and applied some simple basic rules for fitness. She adapted the rules specifically for traveling, no matter where she was in the world. She knows how hard traveling can be on minds and bodies, and has found a way to ensure that traveling for business or for pleasure does not need to lead to unhealthy habits.

Working full-time as a flight attendant, Roy understands travelers’ struggles and challenges:
• eating fast-food because of tight schedules
• airport security food screening
• lack of time to exercise
